FOOD IN THE CAPITAL
POSTPONED UNTIL NOVEMBER
This April we were looking forward to connecting with thought leaders from across the food industry at Canberra’s Premier Food Event, Food in the Capital. However, given the growing concerns around COVID-19, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the event until 17-18 November 2020.
This was a tough call to make -- sales were exceeding targets and our marketing was well received -- but we need to prioritise the health and safety of our sponsors, panellists, delegates and everyone who helps create an event of this scope.
Every cloud has a silver lining though – this is your opportunity to be seen as a leader in the future of food!
This is your opportunity to be a leader in the future of food. With most of the large food events cancelling until 2021, and the interest in food security increasing, the November Food in the Capital event will be one of the first food events to be held post epidemic. It will be meeting the demand for up to date, thought provoking discussions, including examining the food issues experienced during the epidemic, and those we are likely to be experiencing going forward.
We will be providing further details in the coming week. In the meantime, thanks for your patience and understanding -- we appreciate your support and look forward to being able to offer you even more benefits closer to the event!
CANBERRA'S FIRST-EVER SUSTAINABLE FOOD EVENT
From 17-18 November 2020, Canberra will play host to Food in the Capital, a first of its kind, sustainable food conference.
The event sets out to connect people from across the industry including farmers, food businesses and manufacturers, community groups, thought leaders and policy makers.
Over this two day event you will be engaged and inspired by an extensive program exploring topics from rural and urban farming, transport logistics and the
latest in social venture ideas.
